Home of Warangesda Festival
Burrundi Theatre for Performing Arts Ltd is a multidisciplinary arts organisation and produces public events and festivals in Sydney and Regional NSW. Our Artistic Director Kerry Johnson has been producing Festivals since 2018. Her first engagement has been with Koori Radio - YABUN Festival as Cultural Curator of the Corroboree Grounds. Assistant Producer on YABUN 2022, Koorid Radio NAIDOC Ball 2022. She has since produced the Yarruwala Wiradjuri Festival 2020, Mudgingal Women's Festival 2021, Yarruwala Yalul 2023, Yarruwala Yalul First Fire 2023, Warangesda Festival 2023.
Warangesda Festival 2023
Burrundi Theatre founder and producer of the inaugural Warangesda Festival. The festival was a ground breaking event for the Riverina regional NSW, Wiradjuri country. The festival has been established to connect with our communities connection and legacy at Warangesda, Darlighton Point NSW. Warangesda is is situated near by the Murrumbidgee River.
