Wundirra Program – “To Stand in One’s Own Light” 

The Wundirra Program, facilitated by Burrundi Theatre, is a culturally grounded safer community prevention program operating since 2025. It supports Aboriginal young people to strengthen their identity and connection to culture through creative engagement.

Delivered in partnership with the Department of Communities and Justice and Create NSW, and alongside program partners Gadigal Cultural & Arts Centre and Bujja Buuja Butterfly Dance Group, Wundirra brings together dance, storytelling, and cultural practice.

Through this shared work, young people build confidence, connection, and cultural pride — walking strong in identity and contributing to safer, more connected communities.
